In 2013, the Competition will be dedicated to the pianists. The participant’s age limit is raised to 30 years (i.e. they must be born after 15 January 1983). More information about the entry conditions and the competition rounds is available in the rules.

The application form for the 2012 Composition Competition is available on the applications' website. The purpose of this competition is to select a work for piano and symphony orchestra of about 10 minutes, to be played in the final of the Queen Elisabeth Competition for pianists in 2013.

The applications for the 2012 violin competition are closed. Using their login and password, candidates can still consult and print their application form.

At the beginning of December 2011, an international jury has chosen the winning work of the International Composition Competition 2011. The laureate and the finalists will be informed personally and confidentially during the month of December 2011. On 18 May 2012, the results of this competition will be announced to the public.
