These master classes, which are open to the public, will be held in the auditorium of the MIM.
REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
Admission
These classes are open to all violinists who are under 32 years of age and who have reached an advanced standard. Applicants who wish to participate actively in these classes should enclose with their application copies of any documentation that might provide information on their abilities: for example, higher qualifications obtained or prizes awarded at other competitions (enclose documentary proof), press reviews, etc. The organisers of the Competition will decide on the merits of applications; their judgement is final. For each work proposed, participants must provide a score for the accompanying pianist and the teacher.
Candidates in the Competition:
Candidates in the Queen Elisabeth Competition for violinists 2009 may also register for the master classes. Should a candidate qualify as one of the twelve finalists, his or her participation in the master classes will be cancelled automatically.
